What we do
Ostara brings together communities of change-makers to radically reimagine our collective future.
Climate breakdown, ecosystem collapse, and growing inequality are deeply interconnected and systemic. Yet, despite decades of effort, progress has remained incremental.
We create spaces to dream beyond the limits of our current systems, and reimagine the world together. From business leaders, policy makers and scientists, to Indigenous voices, farmers and youth representatives — we convene diverse actors to address entrenched issues and incubate transformative solutions.
What makes our work distinct is how we hold the space between worlds: between inner and outer, Indigenous and Western, human and more-than-human, imagination and action. We draw credibility from decades within established systems while walking alongside those giving form to what is emerging.
We create spaces for collective imagination and sense-making, sparking bold new ideas for change

Our imaginal spaces bring together diverse communities of leaders to collectively make sense of the system, dream new possibilities and weave the connections needed to manifest them. We bring provocative knowledge into these spaces to spark imagination, focusing on the cracks in the system and the levers of transformation that lie beyond the boundaries of our habitual thinking. Crafted using a unique combination of tried and tested approaches, these gatherings bridge different perspectives, address tensions, and inspire collective action in service of life. Through cycles of deep listening and collective sense-making, new seeds begin to crystalise into projects and collaborations.
We incubate bold new ideas, with the potential to deliver an economy in service of life

In 2026, we will launch an incubator to support the emergence of a new economy in service to life. Rather than a traditional accelerator or fund, it aims to be a living ecosystem of support made up of mentors, partners and aligned funders who help new possibilities take root and mature. Through reflective residencies, peer learning and access to catalytic capital, the incubator will tend the seeds of transformation, helping them grow in coherence and connection rather than in speed or scale. Over time, it will become a living portfolio of prototypes that demonstrate what an economy in service of life can look like in practice.
Our harvest so far...
What challenges do we seek to address?
Our work currently targets two critical levers of systems transformation: reimagining food value chains, and redesigning finance in service of life. As we look ahead to 2026, we seek to launch new programmes to equip change-makers, sustainability professionals and leaders to reimagine global challenges more broadly — and deepen our work with indigenous elders to bridge different ways of knowing and seeing in service to the living world.
We act as a bridge between ways-of-knowing
Alongside our thematic explorations, we create spaces where Indigenous elders and wisdom-keepers meet scientists, investors, and policy makers to imagine new pathways. From the Oxford Nature-Based Solutions Conference to the Harmony Summit at Highgrove and the Earth Elders gathering at Embercombe, these dialogues have begun to show how ancestral knowledge and sacred relationship with the living world can guide the redesign of our economies and institutions.

What methodology underpins our approach?
Real transformation requires us to walk a twin trail, pushing the boundaries of current systems, whilst daring to dream beyond. Our approach combines well established and emerging methods — from systems thinking, group genius and design thinking to inner development, collective imagination and kincentric leadership.
